Attachment Therapy for Parents, Adults & Young People

Heal your inner child.
Break the cycle.

So much of how we parent, love and relate to others begins in childhood. I help parents, adults and young people heal the experiences that shaped them — so they can break the cycle and show up differently for themselves and the people they love.

You can be a loving parent and still be triggered by your child. That's not a character flaw — it's attachment. And it can change.

Who I Work With

The cycle can be broken

Many of us are living out patterns that were shaped long before we could understand them. Whether you're a parent, an adult or a young person — inner child work helps you go back to where those patterns began, so you can finally break the cycle.

🌱

Parents wanting to break the cycle

You love your child deeply but find yourself reacting in ways that feel uncomfortably familiar. The way you were parented is showing up in how you parent — and you want it to stop. Inner child work helps you understand where those reactions come from, so you can change them.

🤝

Parents navigating family breakdown

Whether you're going through separation, have experienced custody difficulties, or are finding your way through a complicated co-parenting situation — this is a space to process what's happened and think about what comes next.

💛

Adults with relationship patterns

You notice the same dynamics playing out in your relationships — at work, with partners, with family. You push people away or hold on too tight. These patterns often begin in childhood. Healing your inner child helps you understand where they come from — and find a different way forward.

🔍

Adults seeking to understand themselves

You don't need a crisis to come to therapy. Sometimes it's about making sense of why you feel the way you do — and healing the younger version of yourself that never got what they needed. That's where lasting change begins.

🌟

Young people aged 11 and above

Growing up can be hard. Therapy offers a safe, confidential space to make sense of what you're feeling — before patterns have a chance to take hold. The earlier we understand ourselves, the easier it becomes to build the life and relationships we want.

About Tiffany

Why inner child work?
Because it's where everything begins.

Tiffany Abraham, therapist

Before moving into private practice, I spent several years working in primary schools and alternative provision settings — supporting children whose early experiences had already shaped how they understood safety, connection, and trust.

I worked closely with parents too, including those navigating some of the most painful situations a family can face: custody difficulties, family breakdown, the feeling of losing your child even when they're still there.

That experience taught me something I carry into every session: parents who struggle rarely do so because they don't care. Most care deeply. But something in their own history — their own attachment story — gets in the way. Understanding that story is where the work begins.

I now work online with parents and adults, offering a warm, non-judgmental space to explore the relationships and patterns that matter most. My approach is attachment-informed, meaning I'm always interested in the roots of how you feel and relate — not just the surface symptoms.

I'm BACP Registered, and I work with a small caseload so that each client gets my full attention and care.

How It Works

What to expect when
you get in touch

Starting therapy can feel daunting. Here's exactly what happens, step by step — no surprises.

01

Free intro call

We have a free 15-minute call so you can get a sense of me and ask any questions. There's no obligation — it's simply a chance to see if working together feels right.

02

First session

We meet online for our first 50-minute session. I'll ask about what's brought you to therapy and what you're hoping for. You don't need to prepare anything — just show up.

03

Regular sessions

Most clients come weekly at a regular time. Sessions are 50 minutes, online, on Mondays or Tuesdays between 10am and 2pm.

04

At your pace

There's no set number of sessions. Some people come for a few months, others longer. We review how things are going regularly and you're always in control of the process.
